This page is here in appreciation of Rahne "Wolfsbane" Sinclair, my favorite female comic book character. She appears in Marvel Comics. |

What's Up with Rahne?
7/27/05 - Wolfsbane debuted in the New Mutants Graphic Novel, where she helped found the New Mutants after the X-Men disappeared. She stayed on the team through various membership changes until the X-Tinction Agenda incident. An artificial psychic bond between her and Alex "Havoc" Summers led her to join the government-founded team X-Factor. She took leave from X-Factor after the Marvel Universe returned to normal after the Age of Apocalypse. Rahne visited her foster mother, Moira McTaggart, in Scotland and ended up joining Excalibur. When that team disbanded, Rahne stayed with Moira until the latter was murdered by Mystique and Rahne lost her mutant powers. Her whereabouts remained unknown until she returned to the Xavier School for Mutants around 2003. She became a teacher/counselor there, and had a love affair with a student, Josh Foley. Josh's mutant healing powers brought Rahne's own powers back, but when word got out about Rahne and Josh's relationship, Rahne quit the school before she could be fired. She currently resides in Mutant Town in NYC with former teammates Jaime "Multiple Man" Madrox and Guido "Strong Guy" Carosella as a part of the X-Factor Detective Agency. History/Pictures Rahne's associates at Academy X
Wolfsbane Links Muir Isle: A Wolfsbane fansite The only other Wolfsbane fansite I know of. It hasn't been updated since '98, but it's still a good source of info. New Mutants Fansite A very beautiful site dedicated to the new New Mutants comics. It's got previews, summaries, pictures of the covers, and all kinds of great stuff. |
